Honeybee Conservancy

Second Year
January 2020 - March 2020

The Honeybee Conservancy regional headquarters is a warm, energetic and bright office that reflects their mission to provide education, food, and bees to local communities. Located in the north end of Fargo, ND this area offers a variety of historical buildings as well as flora and fauna. The Honeybee Conservancy regional headquarters emulates a comfortable, active, and energizing workspace. This is incorporated by having an open floor plan as well as multiple workstation areas for mobility and easier collaboration.

Incorporating plants, and organic textiles into the open office help encourage the staff to stay active physically and mentally throughout their day. Combining wood and warm fall tones like deep mauve and dark yellows brings a relaxing peaceful essence to the otherwise active open floor plan. These colors are often found in flowers that bees are attracted too such as Lavender, Sunflowers, Black-Eyed Susan’s, and Cloves. Natural materials flow through the space helping to bring the outdoors in.
